General

Http(s)
This monitor simulates a real user sending a request to your webserver via a URL. Using the HTTP return code from the response (200, 404, 500 etc) we can detect if everything is running as expected. Perfect for any website or webapp.

Ping
This monitor sends a ping (ICMP) request to your servers IP address and awaits a reply. If your server does not respond then there may be an issue. The server or network may be down. Great for general server monitoring.

Keyword
This monitor is similar to HTTP(s) but also checks the webpage for some content to exist or not. Essential to ensure no error messages are returned or the webpage loads as expected.

Port
This monitor makes a connection to a specific port on your server and checks for a response. Vital for ensuring your services like smtp, dns, pop are all running without interruption.

We use a main datacenter in Germany for most of our checks but additional nodes are located around the globe to verify downtime or error statuses.
No our monitors are very careful not to load any JavaScript tracking codes so your google analytics or other reporting software will not be affected. You can also exclude our IP ranges or user-agent from non JS tracking solutions.
The first thing to check is that your contacts are set up correctly and you had sufficient SMS credit (if using the SMS option).

Once you have an account, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the plans section of your dashboard.

If you have already subscribed to a plan then changing the plan is easy, simply select the new plan and any remaining unused credit will be deducted from your new plan.
